Dash of Gold

Hey guys so I'm here with another OOTD. But before we get into it, sorry I haven't been posting recently, just super busy with family & education.
This is an OOTD from a couple of days back. If you follow me on Instagram you'll have seen it before! I never went into details so I thought I would today in this post.

The colour palette of this outfit was really dull, greys and blacks aren't exactly exciting so I added a dash of gold, hence the title ;).

So I'm wearing a plain black baggy tee which I don't actually know where I got from, but come on you can get a black tee from anywhere! Then i'm wearing black 'ponti' leggings which are just black leggings with a line down the middle. Mine are from Matalan for £12 but you can get them in a few colours from Primark for £6. The reason I like these leggings is that they're actually quite thick which is great for chilly weather.
My shoes are also from Matalan, they're black suede ballet pumps with silver studs all around the front. They were just £10.

The coat i'm wearing is a grey wool-like coat which has been made with a herringbone stitch. It's from Mango and was only £40. Here's a link to it.

Last but not least the accessories were a black scarf with a gold chain print, which I got from a car boot haul I blogged earlier! The necklace was a gift from Dusty Diamonds, find them on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter!

Thanks for reading loveliessssss. Hope you enjoyed, let me know in the comments what you want to see next :D

Danger Denim OOTD

Hey guys, I'm here with another post for my masses of readers that just adore me (sarcasm). This time I thought hey-ho its time for a OOTD.
White NY Skyscraper tee, Internacionale.. Like 50 years ago, no joke tingz.

Wrangler Denim Shirt, £12 from a vintage store in Leeds.

Jeans, H&M (Birthday gift from the lovely Annisha!!!)
Nike Blazers, £60 (with student discount) Office!

My denim shirt was a great buy because I needed a denim shirt but every one that I found was either ugly or just very unhijabi friendly. (Too tight or too short). Then I found this denim shirt which was a mens size medium. Perfectoooooooo lecto :D

Hope you liked it guize.

Car boot haul!

Ever since joining YouTube and watching people like 'athrifymrs' and 'thefashioncitizen' I learnt that thrifting or bargaining is a great way to pick up some AWESOME pieces at super cheap prices. So I set out to find some cool things on the cheap.

However this never happened for me because the charity shops near me seem to sell nothing but shapeless and dull clothing. Last weekend though I decided I would go to a car boot and test my luck. Luckily I did pick up some items which I'm sooo proud of so I want to share it with you guys in the form of a lovely little haul!

The first thing I picked up from a stall was something I couldn't believe I found. It's the gorgeous dress above. Firstly, its a TopShop dress which is just amazing, It was a TINY £2! Can you believe that? It was a size 10 which is a little big as I'm size 8 but it's not a problem as it still fits me quite snugly! Its a long body con dress with gorgeous peter pan collars! I am probably going to fold the dress in at the bottom and wear it as a top with some trousers and a blazer! It's a great way to snazz up an all black outfit.

The second thing I got was this ring, some of you guys may recognise it from Primark, where it is probably going for £2.50 or so? I tried it on and it was the perfect size, and the best thing is I got it in exchange for a beautiful 50 pence coin ;)!

This buy is probably my favourite one, everything about it is so perfect. It's a black silk square scarf (try saying that out loud really fast!). The scarf was in very good condition, and the best thing was it was once again ONLY 50p! It has a gorgeous gold chain design on the scarf and it's a Next scarf. This would be perfect as a neck scarf or a turban hijab!

The last thing I bought was this necklace, I spotted it as I was about to leave the car boot and just asked the lady how much it was, she said 50p, but I only had 30p in change and didn't want to break a note, so I had a spur of the moment thought and decided to have a cheeky go at haggling.. Definitely wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. It sorta went like this 'I only have 30p in change, would you be willing to take that? *cute smile*' 'Yeah course take it.' In my head I was like 'WOO BRAP YAY YIPPEE' but in person I stayed calm and collected, paid the measly 30 pence and welcomed my new necklace to my handbag.

So that there was my little haul, I got a dress, scarf, a ring and a necklace all for £3.30. Wasn't a bad morning eh?

Hope you enjoyed reading my adventures, goooooodbye x

Introduction.

Hey guys, so I bet no-one is reading this so I'm just going to be typing a mini factfile on myself, for myself. Anyways, I've been wanting to start a blog for a long time, well about 3 months. Anyways, for some reason today was the day. Sooooooooo, for the first post I thought an introduction would be best. Here goes nothing.

My name is Sara, pronounced 'Sah-rah'.
I'm 17 years old, woooo.
I'm from zee UK, England to be precise.
I'm currently at 6th Form, studying Law, Psychology and ICT.

That was a little bit about me, now onto the blog. It's going to be just another hijab fashion blog where I'll post outfits and hauls and all that lah-di-dah, but I bet you're (yes you my non-existent readers) wondering what is going to make my blog special. Well there is one thing.. and its ME.

On that note... You are the weakest link..

Goodbye ;)
